Our India Monsooned Espresso Blend is now Pure Indian, combining two distinctive coffees to create a bold, full-bodied espresso with exceptionally low acidity.

DESCRIPTION

Our Monsooned Malabar owes its unique character to a traditional processing method. In the past, when coffee was transported from India to Europe by sailing ship, the green coffee beans were exposed to high humidity during the months-long voyage. This changed both the color and flavor of the beans.

Today, this effect is deliberately recreated through a process known as “monsooning.” The green coffee beans are exposed to humid monsoon air for several weeks, developing their characteristic mild, low-acidity, and full-bodied flavor.

Our Espresso Blend combines two carefully selected coffees:

  • 80% India Monsooned Malabar Aspinwall (SCA Score: 82.5 points) – A monsooned Arabica with a rich body, exceptionally low acidity, and a distinctive spicy, slightly bitter flavor.

  • 20% India Kaapi Royale A – A fully washed Robusta from the family-owned Bynemara Estate in Karnataka, grown at an altitude of 1,200 meters. With notes of nougat, roasted aromas, and cocoa powder, it adds depth, body, and a rich crema to the blend.

The blend consists of 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta beans, creating a bold, full-bodied espresso with exceptionally low acidity.

Our espresso is packaged in a resealable, aroma-preserving bag to maintain freshness.
