The classic pan for sweet and savory tarts, pies and quiches.

A Cynthia Barcomi Kitchenware baking pan is a lifelong investment. Cynthia intentionally selected aluminum for its durability. She still uses aluminum baking pans passed down from her grandmother! Like Cynthia, you can also pass on your Cynthia Barcomi Kitchenware baking pans to future generations.

DESCRIPTION

Our pie & tart pan has firm, wavy sides and a removable base. By gently pressing the base, the finished pastry can be quickly and easily removed from the pan.

Tip: You do not need to grease our pie & tart pan before use. This is because the dough already has enough fat in itself. In addition, there are no 'sticky' ingredients such as sugar, chocolate, or cheese in pie or quiche dough."

MATERIAL

The material's high conductivity ensures efficient and rapid distribution of heat and cold. This means that pastries can be frozen and defrosted in the baking dish without any issues.

You can cut on the baking pans without worry. Although a knife may cause slight marks, these do not affect the function of the baking dish.

The stainless, anodized aluminum provides excellent non-stick properties without the need for a coating.

To anodize aluminum baking pans, they are immersed in an electrolytic bath and anodized through the flow of electric current. This process creates an oxide surface that protects the metal core and allows it to perform optimally.

ABOUT OUR MANUFACTURER

Quality is our top priority. Almost all Cynthia Barcomi Kitchenware baking pans are handcrafted in England, in collaboration with a long-standing partner since our establishment in 2009.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our baking pans made in England, a true symbol of quality, we do not currently receive large quantities from our manufacturer. Supply shortages and the challenge of finding suitably trained staff contribute to this limitation.

This makes it all the more special when you get your desired pans or can give one as a gift.

We believe that a Cynthia Barcomi Kitchenware baking pan should be the last one you ever buy.

Have any questions about the product? You can best reach us here in the chat. We typically respond within a few minutes and always personally. Alternatively, you can also send us an email to post@cynthiabarcomi.com, and we will assist you there.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

MATERIAL: ANODIZED ALUMINIUM
WARRANTY: 25 YEARS
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: ENGLAND
HEAT RESISTANCE: UP TO 280°C
SOURDOUGH RESISTANT:   YES
SCRATCHPROOF: YOU CAN CUT ON THE BAKING PANS WITHOUT HESITATION. A KNIFE MAY LEAVE SLIGHT MARKS, BUT THESE WILL NOT DAMAGE THE FUNCTION OF THE BAKING PAN.
CLEANING: WE RECOMMEND HAND WASHING THE PANS. MANY DISHWASHER CLEANERS CONTAIN CORROSIVE AGENTS THAT CAN CHEMICALLY ATTACK THE PANS. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE FUNCTION OF THE BAKING PANS BUT MAY CAUSE SLIGHT DISCOLORATION.

Do I have to grease the molds?

That depends on what you want to bake and in what form.

Ingredients such as cheese or sugar literally act like glue when they cool.

Therefore, when baking with sponge cake tins, loaf tins and all shapes where you work with such ingredients, we recommend greasing the tins.

For example, a pie and tart pan does not need to be greased because the dough is quite pure and already consists of enough fat.

Can the molds go in the dishwasher?

We recommend washing the molds by hand, as the aggressive detergent from the dishwasher can visually damage the mold.

Question back:

Would you put a good knife in the dishwasher?

Neither do we. It's similar with these good baking molds.

What do I do if the baking pan has gone into the dishwasher?

The discoloration and mysterious "fingerprints" that can appear are essentially areas that were partially protected from attack by deposits of protective grease.

There may also be a powdery residue left behind, which you should remove by hand with a non-scratching scouring pad.

There is no practical way to return the surface to its original condition.

However, since this is a purely aesthetic change to the surface that does not have a negative impact on baking or health, you can continue to use the mold as normal.

Is baking with aluminum healthy?

Yes – with our baking tins.

Our baking molds are “anodized” during production – i.e. placed in an electrolytic bath.

This process closes the pores and you can bake with the molds without any worries.

It is important to note that the molds are not coated. So nothing can ever flake off and get into the food.

Can I cut directly on the baking pans?

Yes.

However, a sharp knife can leave scratches in the mold, but these do not affect the function of the mold.

And as I said, there is no coating to chip or peel.

How do you feel about sustainability?

Our baking molds are made by hand - and in such a way that they last a lifetime.

All bakeware is intentionally uncoated, but undergoes a process called “anodization,” which hardens and seals the core aluminum.

This creates the distinctive color and a smooth, easily removable and easy to clean surface that is also much more durable and will never peel, bubble, warp or rust.

The special surface of our baking tins means that it will develop its own natural patina over time.

Using our bakeware is easy and fulfilling; the joy of a treasured possession that promises a lifetime of perfect baking – that is the ultimate statement for sustainable baking.

Where are the baking molds made?

Our baking molds are mostly made by a great artisan family business in England.

We say too often because there are a few baking pans that the manufacturer cannot produce on site due to a lack of suitable equipment. These include, for example, the popular muffin tins or the dome tart tins.

As a solution to having these important baking molds manufactured, our English manufacturer recommended another manufacturer whose quality is equivalent. He produces in China.

Since quality and creativity are our top priority, we welcomed the collaboration and are just as convinced of the value as the shapes that come from England.

Do you offer a guarantee on the baking pans?

Yes.

We stand behind our top quality and give a 25-year guarantee on all baking pans.

Do you have any more questions? If you have any questions, please feel free to reach us here in the chat. We usually respond within a few minutes and personally. Alternatively, you can also send us an email to post(a)cynthiabarcomi.com and we will help you there.

Quality is our top priority. Almost everyone Cynthia Barcomi Kitchenware baking molds are made by hand in England. A special partner with whom we have been working very happily since our founding in 2009.

Because the baking molds are produced in England with so much handwork (an absolute sign of quality), we are currently not receiving huge quantities from our manufacturer.

The reasons for this are delivery bottlenecks and the fact that they also have enormous difficulties in finding appropriately trained staff.

It's all the nicer when you get the shape you want or can give one as a gift. Because oneCynthia Barcomi Kitchenware Baking pan should be the last baking pan you will ever buy.

Why our baking molds?

Because they last a lifetime – and beyond.

Almost everyone Cynthia Barcomi Kitchenware Baking pan is hand made in England and is made from high quality anodized aluminum. This not only ensures perfect baking results, but also a special feeling when baking.

You feel the difference – in the handling, in the result, in the quality.
