Our Ethiopia Sidamo is an aromatic, fruity specialty coffee with delicate sweetness and pleasantly spicy acidity.

Its elegant notes of jasmine, black tea, and bergamot make it an exceptionally expressive coffee.

DESCRIPTION

A fruity, delicately tart coffee with subtle sweetness and spicy acidity. Floral notes of jasmine meet black tea and the fresh citrus character of bergamot.

This washed 100% Arabica coffee comes from several smallholder farmers in Ethiopia’s Sidamo region. The beans are grown at elevations ranging from 1,500 to 2,200 meters above sea level.

With an SCA score of 84.75, Ethiopia Sidamo stands out for its high quality and elegant, complex flavor profile. A particularly short roasting time preserves the beans’ characteristic fruity and floral aromas.

Ethiopia is considered the birthplace of coffee. Sidamo takes its name from the region where it is grown, while Grade 2 indicates its quality grade. After harvesting, the coffee is processed using the washed method.

We recommend preparing it as espresso or pour-over coffee.
